Default GSR Swap + Dash, cluster,

Ok,

I'm sure this has been covered a million times and I have researched the dash, cluster, & the swap...

But just wondering if anyone has done this, this exact way.

I have a 94 GSR and a 94 EG DX coupe.

What I am wondering is if I can pull all the main harness' ( behind dash, engine, etc.) from the GSR and put it in the EG. So then I wouldn't have to match all the pins for the cluster, wire the vtec, wire the cruise, etc.

Is this a good idea or should I just do it using the EGs harness'

And I plan on taking the ABS off so how would I disable this on the cluster, other than pullin the light out, I don't want it to throw ANY codes.

I'm still teedering on the actual dash swap, just for the cleanliness... any opinions on this one?

I have searched on this, so if there IS a thread on this just point me in the right direction and ixnay this one.

Any help would GREATLY be appreciated, I'm gonna do a build thread on this one too coming up soon!

Thanks man, I hope it's that simple...

I haven't ripped any of it apart yet, so I guess we'll see. I would think it would be alot easier this way... right?

Is the wiring harness pretty much just plug and play with the civics fuse box? Do they use the same fuse box? I know the DX doesn't got all the power **** but if I wanted I could just swap the fuse box? then later if I wanted to run power windows and all that it would be alot easier.

Nobody else has done this? C'mon

I'm planning the same thing, gonna throw in an LS motor and DC2 internals. This is the write-up I'm following. https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/diy-dc2-dash-into-eg-2447292/
This should finish the thread.......maybe
