GSR stuff for my HX
I have a 97 HX. My friend just gave me his swbar from his GSR (He went to a type r) . Do I need the LCA's from a GSR? or can I just drill and bolt on some brackets to my existing LCA? and would I need new shocks if I went to GSR LCA's?
Also I'm going to be getting GSR rear brakes soon.. should I just try to get an LCA with that?
Thanks for any info.

A lot of people will tell you you need the GSR lca's, but not you DO NOT need them, for some reason the HX's have the mounting holes in the LCA's, how do I know you ask? I just bought a GSR rear sway for my HX.

?!?!?!??!!!!?????
Huh? My 97 HX coupe has LCA's with mounting holes. I am assuming this means most other model civics do not, as I was told I could not mount the sway without GSR LCA's, since civics do not have the mounting point, however my HX does

Re: GSR stuff for my HX (RSZero1)
I found out the inner mounting points (the ones that are attached mid-way through the bar) need to be moved outward about a hald an inch a peice (this is accomplished by loosening the clip, relocating it, and tightening it back down. The endlink mounts also look like they will fit, but Hondaautomotiveparts.com wants $40 a peice, so it's going to be $80 just to mount the stupid thing. Not sure if it's worth it. If anyone else knows where I can get endlink mounts for cheaper, let me know.

When I mounted my ITR swaybar on my CX I used the SI end links this is what you should be ussing if you have a 96+ You will prob need the SI mounts on the inside too. the holes are there you just need the right parts. I used a Beeks kit and Energy suspension poly bushings/mount on my ITR sway bar. Good luck.

Re: GSR stuff for my HX (pucho)
Thanks, I have the mounts from the GSR, I just need to get the metal spacer and the end links. Thanks for the info on the endlinks!
