Default HX wheels

I was wondering if anyone tried fitting HX wheels into a '94 up GSR. I know there is going to be some fitment issue. How much do I need to shave the calipers? Is this a problem for only the front? I wanted to use a pair on the front for the drag strip. Please let me know what you needed to do to get these on if you've tried it before. Thanks.

you need to shave a substantial amount but it can be done.

the rear's will fit fine.

not sure its worth it though...i guess it depends on the quality of the tires you have on the hx rims...

Actually, I got a flat last night and tried putting my friend's HX rims on. They fit, but they don't clear the calipers all the way. It's really close, you don't have to shave that much off. Probably like 0.05mm or so.

As was said before, the rears fit no problem.

Does anyone have pics of HX on Integras? I'm just thinking about a front pair but I've always liked the way the HX wheels look.

if you like the HX look, you can shopa round for '96 JDM ITR rims... they are 4 lug.
(wait, are they 100 or 114?)

I think they're 4x114. Too much money and attention. I have a set of 15" Rota C8s now but I just like smaller wheels.

i rather shave the calipre slightly, youll but to much stress on the lugs, they might break on you .

Aren't HX wheels, 14"? I would't go down in size on a GSR...

The HX wheels look nice. They weigh approx. 11 lbs. and will fit just fine w/ some spacers. I have a set of 2 rims and firestone tires that I'll sell for $90 + shipping. I'll throw the spacers in for $10 bucks. Let me know.

I'm sure a 1/8" spacer from Pep Boys would do the trick, and I seriously doubt having the wheels outward just 1/8" would put put any more stress on the lugs than what they were designed to handle, i.e. I doubt they would come anywhere near to being overstressed.
