gsr into civic hx ecu?'s, mounts?'s, headwork?'s
Alright I did a search and found some bits and pieces but not everything. I know it gets old seeing these kind of posts everyday but I couldn't answer all of my questions through the search.
Alright I have a 1997 Civic HX and a 1999 B18C1. I know I need the rear mount from a 99-00 SI, now is it the uppers drivers side mount i need also? I'm not sure what other mounts I need only the rear one.
Can the stock hx harness be used?
Do I HAVE to upgrade brakes to SI or GSR brakes?
Also I personally own a p28 and have access to both an OBD2a and OBD2b p72, which one would be best considering I only plan on doing some light headwork and bolt ons?
Lastly the valve seals are bad on the GSR so that is why I plan on doing headwork when i replace them, what would you suggest I do for headwork, slight p&p,cams, 3 or 5 angle valve job???
Again I know it gets old but i couldnt get these answers from the search so i decided to post it.
Thanks Alot!

no need to upgrade brakes your stock is fine its not like your car is a drag car i've seen tons of turbo charged high horsepower cars with stock brakes.........as for the head work i would recommend valves/valve springs (dual)/retainers/camshaft/p&p....just my .02

no.. i just put a obd2 jdm gsr in my 97 hatch, u need the Si rear the Si drivers side block mount. and d a b series shift linkage.. i used a 98 ex harness on my car .. makes it easy since our cars have a 1 peice harness... I used the jdm gsr ecu that came with mine.. I have pics in the appearance forum... its not a bad swap to do .. pretty much a drop in after u put the mounts and harness on
