GSR front Swaybar doesn't fit EK hatch???

GSR front Swaybar doesn't fit EK hatch???
Tried installing a GSR front swaybar on my 2000 EK hatch with "92 SI front lower control arms and forks but the swaybar sits about 1.5" below the lowest part of my car and the shiftlinkage does not clear. Am I the only one?? or is the GSR swaybar not compatable with the EK hatch? On a positive note the Comptech rear swaybar went on with no hassle

I have a GSR sway bar in my Ek... the only way it will fit is if you have the GSR subframe. I found this out when I installed the GSR power steering into my hatch, and tried using the Si sway bar, and the Si bar didn't fit. If you are interested in the Si bar, let me know, this bar will fit your application and it is thicker than the GSR bar.
