Default GSR Exhaust Manifold

alright im a little dissapointed my swap isnt done yet but hey delivery is a bitch...

anyways i order a 4-2-1 dc header for my gsr swap from prostreetonline and they told me that dc sport discontinued it... so my thinkin is that i just stick with the stock exhaust manifold and pocket back the close to 500 bucks i spent on the header... sound like a plan... mayb i can find a different header to fit my gsr later..

should i just stick with the stock header? or should i order a type r header from hmotorsonline... any opinions would be appreciated

i think you should go for the JDM ITR Header if your planning just for basic bolt-ons, but if you have bigger plans then i would get something bigger, like RMF or SMSP

i found these pictures thru our H-T members.

AN-R

RMF

SMSP

for more pictures of the SMSP here is the Link

but what i am trying to say is ... if your willing to dump 500+ for a header drop a couple hundred more and you wont regret it or you can the the JDM ITR from hmotors which is about $350 i think from last time i check there webside

good luck bro!

i would say just get the megan racing itr header its cheaper and it is of good quality i have a few megan products on my car and non have failed or rusted or anything. BUT if you want to spend the money you know where to do it ^^^^^^^^

This really should go in the hybrid forum.

Anyone else notice he didn't tell us what motor he has? Do you have a Integra GSR motor in your civic? And you want a different header I take it?

no i got a Del Sol and i have a full GSR Swap waiting to be installed back at the shop... so its basically a GSR in a Del Sol but i dont know i wanted to keep taht stock header... i think i might just keep the stock header temporarily and upgrade in a couple months...
