any1 have pics of stock gsr headers without heat shields i was thinking of doing this and then polishing my head to make it look nice,until i get a new header. or will the header be extremely dirty to the point where it will jus look like crap its a 98 gsr wit 95k miles driven in the northeast

 

You would do better to simply leave the heatshield on, and perhaps polish that if you're looking for something to do. The stock GS-R manifold is an unattractive, cast unit.

The stock hearders are cast iron right? Isn't that too porous to polish?
