I wouldn't bother. Unless you are going for boost, that setup will lose power.

if you have an ls block just laying around build an lsvtec dont use the ls pistons rods and or crank in an already good motor (B18c)

no i have both of the blocks sitting the motor in my car is a ls vtec with a gsr head so i figured if i put the gsr bottom end together and put my head on it i will have just a reguluar gsr i just want somthing thats reliable without having to tune

if your not trying to do anything with it then leave it how it is.. if you dont wanna tune it leave it how it is..
in theory you have to tune your ecu for eveything you do to your car in reality you only tune after a big change to the motor..
no you wont have a regular gsr if you put a b18 head on a b18 block with ls internals.. first i dont even know if the internals will fit that block second it will be weak and with lower compression

i have this build in my car right now... but mind you it was all done with ARP nuts and bolts to keet it together and i had the ls rods shot peened. its great for boost but would be horrible for NA

Ditto on this ****... If you already have a good running LS-VTEC swap, keep that in the car and do a full build on your GSR block. As said, pointless to add the LS internals to the GSR block, ultimately it would just be another damn LS in the end.

the pros: gsr girdle makes the block stronger, and the ls crank in gsr block bumps it up to 1.9 (right?)
