gsr del sol problems....
ok so the tach been jumping around alot and some of your guys suggested its the distributor... no when the tach jumps the car bogs real bad... i ordered a new distributor should be here thursday... now when i swap this out is it as easy as replace the distributor and plug it in?? should i change out the wires?? any advice will help.. thanks

Not hard at all. Just 3 bolts and 2 or 1 plug.(s)
Are you sure your not getting oil in the distributor.
The o-ring could be failing to keep a seal.
Make sure all the connections to the ignitor are nice and tight.
Just my .02 cents before you go ahead and replace the distributor.

finally!!! thanks for the help... im new to hondas and i think i have a pretty good power plant. jdm b18c1.. i got the new disrtibutor already just have to install... should i replace wires now too??

Make sure you get a timing light on it also. Follow your directions to properly set base ignition timing. Other than that, make sure you pay attention when swapping over wires, 1-3-4-2 from the bottom left when looking at the distributor cap. And make sure you line up the key correctly also, It will only slide into the cam properly one way.

so now i got the new distributor and the 2 cam keys are non existant!!! Is there a way i can take that old part of the dizzy off and put it on the new one??? i need to use my car asap and cant with this issue...
