Default gsr clutch slipping but its brand new

ok eg with a 97 gsr b16 trans, now to the problem... when i did the swap i put in a new Competition Clutch stage 2 i have the box to prove it lol i replaced the throwout bearing that came with the kit and after everything was dropped in when i try to take off it slips like crazy, it makes a loud pssssshhhhhhh noise in every gear when its under a load or when i push in the clutch. it shifts fine no grinds goes in first when im stopped all the good stuff any ideas?

did you put the pilot bearing in? and did you grease the throw out bearing. i'v got a similar setup but with the b18cR trans.

pull the clutch out and clean it with break cleaner sounds to me like you got something on it.
not putting grease on the throwout bearing would casue it to sqeek.
did you reserface the fly wheel? or replace?

i did not resurface the flywheel and i put grease on the bearing the pilot bearing was fine

What kind of grease? On areas like this you need to use like a MolyB grease. Not just any high-temp grease because that **** will get on the mating surface and cause major slippage. You need something high-temp and high-pressure like MolyB.

Also, you should ALWAYS at least resurface the flywheel when replacing the clutch. This may be a major cause of your problem right there.

you bled the clutch and put in pilot bearing and greased throwout right? also you should have resurfaced/replaced the flywheel.

you really should have resurfaced it, that coud be way its slipping.
pull it out, clean cutch,and resurface or replace the flywheel.
