Grounding?
I took my car in for type 3 service, when I checked under my hood the other day the grounding wire was not attatched to the engine. wtf? Why would they do this? Could it be error? Why do you need to ground your engine?

if they adjusted your valves, they need to take off your valve cover, and ur ground strap needs to come off.
your motor needs to be properly grounded to get maximum spark (for u physics guys, it needs to be grounded for maximum voltage differance).

Might help you understand the gains behind grounding the engine:

Re: Grounding? (kay_animation)
When you ground your engine just using the stock grounding wire, it should ground from the valve cover to the front upper car body to the left of the drivers side headlight. you should see the screw hole it goes in somewhere around there. Also make sure the surface where the ground will be touching the car is scratched up so the wire actually touches the metal of the car and not just the paint.

no because the wire connector will cover it. You flame soo much about RED wheels in so many different threads that you completely skip over the MANY 'proper ground' threads.
