My short shifter hits my B Pipe body on my exhaust. Suggestions?
I have a Type One Full Catback exhaust, with a Skunk2 Short Shifter. After I just installed my Type One Exhaust, my shifter hits my B Pip on my Exhaust. Anyone have this problem and any suggestions on fixing it?

either take your b pipe off and heat up the hanger and bend it down a bit, or do what i did, take it out of the hanger, and ty-rap it right beneath the hanger. Yea its ghetto, but hey, it works

I think you are going to ahve to get an adjustable short shifter or a DC.
I recently replaced my DC with a Skunk because the DC was too low in car. The DC had at least an 3/4" more clearance over the exhaust then the Skunk which is now less then 1/4" inch away, but never hits.

i have a no name short shifter with a stock exhaust, and mine hits too. when i drive i can feel the exhaust vibrating, and the shifter stick gets hot. since i'm too lazy to do anything about it right now, i just drive it the way it is. however, i'm going to bend the exhaust hangers to make the exhaust sit lower once i convince myself it's worth the time .

All you have to do is bend the hanger on the b-pipe up, take out the b-pipe and use a hammer to bend it up towards the car, I had the same problem with my skunk2, and this is what I did

I have a TenzoR short shifter and after I installed my Apexi WS, I feel the shifter hitting the b-pipe. I am just going back to my stock gsr shifter(which I got today thanks to "salbaje"). I am a firm believer that short shifters in the long run will ruin your synchros.
