Default Got my clutch changed but WTF?

My clutch went out Monday so I had to bring it to the closest shop,it was an emergency. He told me its gonna be between 4-$500 for the job.
He called me while he was working and said"Dan,The aftermarket stock replacement is 290$ and the centerforce is better and only $30 more,a guy that races these little things told me about it"So I told him I dont want a stiff pedal because I do alot of city driving and he said it wouldnt be.
I picked the car up yesterday after coming out to a total of $640 for a clutch installed,The car is actual faster feeling but 2 things bug me.

1)The clutch is so light now,I could push it down with a feather and it grabs abruptly.
2)When I let off the gas my air/fuel ratio goes into the red lean zone,I never seen that.

Im thinking they took material off my flywheel,it does rev quicker and feel faster,I just wanna know if this deceleration enleanment is a real big problem.
Maybe they tried some redneck tricks on my car and bumped the timing.
They did say"That little thing boogies"Lol

The aftermarket pressure plate could be lighter than the original, thus less weight on the flywheel, and when I went from driving a worn clutch to a new one it seemed to bite alot harder just because I wasnt use to it..

It sounds like that new clutch of yours grabs much better than your worn clutch.
You might want to try bleeding your clutch fluids. That should help the pedal feel more solid. My friend has a lightened flywheel on his car and I don't notice too much of a difference in the deceleration.

Just dont forget to break in the clutch for the first 500 miles.

breaking in a clutch means.
No racing for you for the next 300-500 miles.

Which is no biggie for you, you can do it, 2 days.

When you decelerate the air fuel guage will always go to its leanest. Like if your rolling down a hill in 3rd and just let off the gas. Mine does it too, don't worry about it.

Cool,Before it would go only to stoich when I let off but idled all the way rich and wot was all the way rich. Its quicker for sure now and all I can think is they reset the ecu for a long time or they bumped the timing.
Thanks

Actaully he CANT do it in 2 days.. it is 500 miles, but you must be shifting constantly.. On the highway you don't shift at all.. therefore it is doing nothing for the clutch.. 2 weeks of regular city driving will break in the clutch.. not 250 miles a day on the highway.. that wont do ****.

And refrain from doing anything with high rpms on it.. it could glaze over and then you would be really fucked.. you would have to buy a new clutch and get it replaced.. and that would be another 650 bucs.

lol This is true. Think about it! The inertia of the vehicle keeps the rpms while you are giving it no gas, hence, a lean mixture ..
