You mean other than magically finding a way for a DOHC valvetrain to work on a Single cam block?

Nothing you want to do will work.

What you want to do is take out the entire engine, transmission and shift linkage and replace it with the counter part.

I'm doing the swap myself and I can tell you, it's not easy. It's not hard, but it's not easy. YOu need to be willing to bust your *** to do it.

Um yeah...I usually dont say this but maybe you need to do a little research before you try and mod you engine...start with the basics like learning about the differences between a D series motor and a B series motor.

You can NOT put a B head on a D block, or a D head on a B block, or an H head on a B block.

The only changing you can make is:
B16A head on B18C1 block (Poor Man Type R)
B16A/B18C head on a B18A/B block (LSVTEC)
B16A/B18C head on a B20 block (CRVTEC)
And you can also put an H22 motor on a B series transmission if you use the H2B kit but it's not a very easy thing to do.

There's also B16B heads, but those are very expensive/rare.

Trust me, if you want to go twin cam VTEC you need to get the ENTIRE powerplant (Motor, transmission, shift linkage, etc)

As far as what needs to be done, most of it is interchangable.

If you have a Z6 I'm guessing you either have an SI or a 93-95 EX? Most of the stock mounts bolt right on, but you do need the rear motor mount from a 94-01 Integra.

Some of the parts you'll need off the top of my head:
32 mm 1/2 inch drive socket
1/2 inch breaker ratchet
A couple bottles of Liquid Wrench
Good socket set (METRIC)
Free moving joint for socket
If you're doing the swap yourself, an engine hoist is necessary
For the wiring you'd probably need a soldering kit

For the engine you need the entire powerplant like I said, but for an H22A I don't know if you can use the stock ECU.

If the motor you're getting comes with an ECU, make sure you change them.

You'll also have to do your own little tune up on the engine before you drop it in. I'd recommend replacing the timing belt, all gaskets, cleaning the intake manifold, throttle body, injectors, head, block.

Make sure you have very good jackstands, a good jack. Just a lot of precautions to take if you're a newbie.

Jesus, what a ******* mess of a thread.

1- Helms manual and a lot of research on this website.
2- B16 motor and any B series transmission
3- B series shift linkage
4- Have your P28 ECU chipped or get the correct ECU for it.
5- B series axles.
6- Oil & transmission fluid.
7- Plastic bags, magic marker, and/or those little colored sticky tabs so you can mark everything that comes off of the motor so you know where it goes back on the motor.

edit: 8- Punch your friend in the nuts if he told you a B16 head could go straight onto a D16 shortblock.
