Going to BAR need help
Alright, so I got pulled over on friday. Got popped and got a ticket to see the state ref for illegal motor.
Since this is the case I'm going to obviously BAR it and make it legal, as of right now
it is a 98 Civic hatch, with an OBD2 (A) B18C (Gs-R) motor in it, with a OBD2 (A) to OBD1 Conversion harness.
From what I've been reading in the FAQ, I will need a USDM ECU for a OBD 2 (A) Gs-R which I have already secured.
I know I will need a catalytic converter
as for converting back to OBD2 for BAR purposes, would I just unhook my conversion harness and JDM ECU, and then plug the USDM ECU back into the stock civic ECU plugs?
In which case I'm assuming, since it will be OBD2 again, I will need to be running a second o2 sensor. which is fine.
Yet I've also heard rumors of needing a USDM intake manifold/throttle body as well
So if someone has any insight on any of that, or has other things I may have missed
that would be a great help.
Thanks in advance

Re: Going to BAR need help (fmrprojects )
What fmrprojects said, since it is odb-2 you will need it. just make sure your cat is still good, and everything is back to stock then you should have no problems, be sure to warm up your car before going tho good luck

Alright thanks guys, I'm going to post up a WTB in the market place right now.
Is there anything else I will need aside the other things said above?
