Default going b20/vtec - here is the setup, what do u think of it....

just ordered my long block today from hmotors -

i will have
b16a head - mild ported and polished, milled
b20b block - gettin balanced
stock b16a valves and cams
16lb flywheel
act HD PP
custom made clutch disc
b16a oil pump
b16a water pump
gsr arp head studs
all the bolt ons on my head, intake manifold, blah blah...etc...etc...

what do u think of this setup - i'm keepin the stock bottom end i think a 7500 redline will suffice me enough

anything else i would need for this?

be sure to have them clay the tolerance between valves and pistons(if they don't do this as common practice).

you will probably cut the pistons for valve clearance. Make sure you put the oil feed line on. Also, when you build this setup correctly, you can have a 8500 redline, and on the dyno, the setup still makes power past 8500.

Why did you buy a long block?

go for eagle rods, and the 4340 eagle cranks for that kind of a set-up etc. if you're getting engine balance. they're pretty good for that kind
