B16a or B18c?
I have a semi built B16a right now
81.5 je pistons
eagle rods
acl bearings
b16 head with itr vavle train and cams
now will it be worth it for me to build another block ?
I have the itr block already, and will be using the B16a head
it will be pretty much the same components
rods
pistons
bearings
is it worth the .2 more displacement or will I just be wasting more money
(also I have a B20 vtec currently in the car stock block running 8psi)
( 280 and 235 to the wheels )

B18 will produce higher torque numbers, however I'd suggest maybe 83 or 84mm overbore on the B18 block if you decide to use it. You can have 2.0 litre engine with impressive torque numbers.
If your going to switch, I would say it should be for a sleeved block like stated...I have a setup close to yours make around 400whp, 275tq b16a 9:1 weisco eagle h beams, PNP head sk2 valve train, gsr cams 60-1....Im making about as much power/tq as a b18 stock sleeves could make..And I still have room to grow
go with the b18c, i probably never build a b16 agian after goin b18c1. the b18c tq curve is so much better plus if ur not impressed you can always go bigger from 81mm to 84mm or whatever you want, just my personal oppinion.....
