gm8 turbo - oil restrictor or no?
I am in the process of re-turboing my EK hatch and I was wondering if anyone had some experience with the rhc6/gm1-8 GM Diesel turbo? I believe that it is a journal bearing turbo and from what ive read it shouldnt need an oil restrictor but I would like to aviod ruining the turbo.
Anyone have thoughts on this?

i would run one if you can. it doesnt hurt if you dont. in your case over oiling that turbo isnt going to happen.
