gauge cluster lights
im trying to change my gauge cluster lights to red. does anyone know how? i know they sell amber bulbs but do they sell red ones? i know you change the bulbs in the back and i know how but i just need to know how to get them red. thanx

i doubt that they make them in red but you could find a paint that could make them red at a hobby store , (MAKE SURE IT CAN HANDLE THE HEAT ) you dont want the dash burning ?

I saw another post could possiblly be in the EG forum, but what the guy suggested was to use a red sharpie and color the bulbs. Or you could go to a photo store and get some red gel, the brand is Lee. And I am sure you have some selection as far as the reds go. That's just my suggestion.

how do u guys that color the bulbs red without managing to blow them? last 2 attempts i had at doing this i blew out atleast two bulbs. what am i doing wrong?

i went to Michaels and bought a nice shade of red ceramic paint. clean em first with alcohol prep pads, dip, and dry. ceramic paints hold up must better than say, a sharpie.
