Amber guage cluster bulbs....I found them!!!
Ok I know allot of you guys are trying to convert your guage cluster from white to amber. After today you won't have to paint or cover your bulbs with covers. Sylvania has released an amber bulb model 24NA that fits perfectly in the grey plugs behind the cluster, then there should be 1 big bulb connected to the dimmer in between the speedo and tach that is a 194 size. I just replaced all my clear bulbs with amber for less than $10 bucks at Pep Boys. It looks really nice and was cheap

ummm my guage cluster illumination comes from 3 194 bulbs. I had hyperwhite 194's that i got for free in my old car, so I stuck them in my car, it looks nice.
if you have amber bulbs it wont look like the ITR's lighting.....the ITR's lighting is more of a deep orange than it is amber, so red is the closest you can get to it without swapping clusters.

The guage I have is a 00 Si, but thet should all be more or less the same. If you look on the back of your cluster(s) you will see three different sizes....
there is one that is the smallest(used for dummy lights, ebrake, check engine etc) those are clear and only come in clear. Then the next size up is the new Sylvania 24NA (the only grey color connector plug on the back), this bulb is bigger than the smallest size, but smaller than the 194, these smaller bulbs(24na) provide 95% of the lighting at least for the 00Si and EX. Then the next size up as you all already know is 194, I chose an amber color but there are at least 10+ different colors for this size, so get whatever you want. I may tackle the climate control tomorrow but have heard it is a PITA of a job. Most likely the 24NA size will work for the heater controls also

Yeah, the G3 Integra clusters all use 194 bulbs. I'm curious as to how the 24na bulb looks like. Can you post a pic of it if possible? It'd be nice to change out the center console bulbs to match the gauges.
thats what im talking about....what about the heater bulbs???
Also, the Integra Type R has amber illumination NOT because of amber bulbs. They have clear bulbs...the amber comes from the gauges themselves. And the fact that the markings on the ITR is in bold face (thicker than NON ITRs), makes it a little "brighter" than those who swaps out their cluster bulbs to an amber one.
where did you guys find amber/orange 194 bulbs for your guage clusters? I went to 3 stores (2 autozones and 1 Kragen) and none of them had amber 194 bulbs.. the only 194s they had were clear, blue, and red...
overpriced IMO but http://www.jegs.com or http://www.summitracing.com

if any of you are interested i have discovered an almost perfect match to the ITR's amber color for the gauges...
polarg amber bulbs = a little orange but put on some
red bulb condoms from autometer = near perfect color, the red condoms deepen the orange color of the polarg bulbs
i will have pictures of the clock, gauge, and climate control soon

Sorry for blurry pic.
here's with the flash on.
So imagine the focused bottom pic with the top pic's color.
