i figured out why my idle is higher. when i drive and come to a stop light i put it in neutral. and my idle is high. so i take my foot and pull the gas pedal out and the idle drops. and i have to do that every time now. i dont know how to fix it

spray wd40 on the spring under the dash on the gas pedal . and spray the throttle bodies rotor and cable

Check whether the throttle cable is adjusted too tightly. There should be 3/8" to 1/2" of slack in the cable near the throttle body.
