Fuel Rail Cap, is it necessary?
You know, that little cap on the left of the fuel rail? Is it really necessary to have? I accidentally knocked it off and lost it and now coincidentally my car smells like gas in the inside. Anyone know where I could get one, or does anyone have a spare?

Don't start or drive your car until you get that part replaced. If you smell fuel then you have a leak an a fire hazard. GO to Honda and get one if all else fails

I guess i have no idea what youre talking about.
But if you seriously smell gas, you need to find exactly where its coming from because its a HUGE hazard

I can't find one immediately though, and nobody really just sells the stupid cap. I think it may have fallen in the air cleaner tube(that tube that sits below the passenger headlight), but I can't get it out.

Thanks for the input buddy. Anyways, I can't smell any fuel in the engine bay even while the car is running. Even smelled right at the fuel rail, nothing. Still getting a gas smell inside my car. Nobody has been inside my car but myself, and I don't walk around in clothes drenched in gas.

Wow am I an idiot? Alright, turns out this whole thing isn't a fuel problem. It doesn't even pertain to the vehicle is particular. In my trunk I had moved around my spare and lug wrench, and in doing so a bottle of "Gunk's Liquid Wrench Penetrating Oil" spray had fallen over into the dip in the trunk. Once I had put everything back and drove down the road it apparently had fallen where the spray nozzle was pushed and it sprayed out all of its contents. That **** smells just like gasoline in large quantities. Anyways, thanks for the help, just glad I didn't remove my back seat for nothin.

I know exactly the plastic cap hes talking about..... i dont think it is very essential, but i really dont know. Hes talking about that clear plastic cap that goes on the fuel pressure regulator on the passenger side of the fuel rail: i always assumed it was just for protection because maybe the walls of the pressure regulator are thin.
