Car stalled out the other night. Was told it was the fuel pump. When I checked the pump it runs fine. I check both fuses and they seem fine and both have current. But when I checked the two connections at the pump the smaller one is giving me no current. I check the wire and also no current. Not to sure where to go from here.

This is my first Honda and I would really like to learn how to do this myself. I'm not a mechanic and I don't know much but I'm willing to learn if someone is willing to share their knowledge.

main relay. very common. resolder it or get another from the jy or honda.

Hey man thanks for the info. I checked the relay and I don't see any cracks that's need to be soldered. Is there anyway to check the relay?

or you can get another basicaly from from crx/eg/ek/dc crv etc same plug on most 90s hondas

Yea it sounds like the main relay. It might appear ok but its mostly bad.

Yea I watched the same video before hand and the relay shows no cracks.

I made some progress. I took everything out cleaned it and put all the parts back ( fuses relay fuse pump) charged my battery and got it to start, but I do notice that the relay is super hot to touch. should I just invest in a brand new one?

Thanks for the help. I replaced the relay and it started right up.
