check fuel pump

How do you check if a fuel pump is working or not ?
My car doesn' t start and it seems fuel is getting to the engine.
I know my main relay is working.

Turn the key to the accessory position and you should here it prime for a few seconds.

I've try that but don' t hear it, I would like to know if there's a way to check if the pump is working or not.
