front clip swap
im wanting to swap my 97s front end for one off of a 2000 anyways i was wondering does the radiator core support have to be replaced also?
car is a 97 civic

What kind of civic's are we talking about?
97 = ?
2000 = ?
In general 92 to 2000 all have pretty much the same rads so the core support shouldn't need to be changed. However, if your swapping the entire front clip from the 2000 just swap everything including the rad and support.
If I am wrong on this, someone please feel free to correct me.

no when you are just swapping the fenders, hood, headlights and bumper you can use your current core support i think there are two tabs that may have to be trimmed but im not positive its been yers since ive had to do one there is a write up in the FAQ under exterior apperance go check that out

would that be the 2 tabs that the front of the bumper mount to? i tried doing a search for this and only come up with random bs.
