Friends car overheated
So my friend car overheated because his fans wouldn't turn on, and his car over heated. It overheated about 4 times, in 4 different days. (yeah he drove on it when his car was overheating) I told him his engine would **** on him but he still did it. But anyways, what could possibly go wrong? I was told a headgasket blew up. He's getting his car towed today to his house, so I'm gonna disassemble his head and I wanna know what could be wrong with it.
But yeah, his car just cranks and stuff but it won't turn on!
Oh, his car is a 2000 EK, D16Y7 I believe.

just smack him/her on the head, take their keys away and pitch in for a new bicycle for him/her .. people without imagination shouldn't drive or own cars ...
Engine even if fixable will never gonna be the same preformance /reliability without putting some serious time and parts in it.

Alright, so I bought a new headgasket, we're removing the head today. We left the car overnight, because no one wanted to pay a shitload to just get your car towed on a sunday.

There is a very good chance that the head has warped as well. You will need to take it to a machine shop and have them take a look

sit quoting myself again ... it's just basics ... your car shows ANY idiot light on the dash ... you stop and investigate ... your temp goes bit over 'the usual" ... you STOP and investigate ... ehhh ... waste of time ... waste of good cars ... tell your friend to get KIA ... the more he kills/ overheats the better ...
