Hello guys i ran out of idea idk where to go to i look up guide and everything!

Okay so i bought some aftermarket fog lights for my honda civic 95

I connected them all basically The only thing that isn't working is the power cable. I connected to the fuse box but no power then i tryd to splice with the fuse of the cluster light and it worked but my wires got really hot i guess not enought voltage and only one fog was working barley showing light so i took it off quickly before i blew a fuse then i try to connect it directly to my igonition switch and only the fog light switch work but the fog light didn't turn on idk what to do i ran out of idea can anyone help me please! What type of power source can i use for the wire??

I would splice it to the coner light but idk how to!
Please help!!!

Do you have a switch or are you just trying to wire them up to turn on with your headlights?

I have the switch but it doesn't turn with the switch so i wire it to the cluster fuse and the switch turn on and one of the fog tur. On aswell but i guess it didn't have enough volts cause it barely turn on and the other one didn't plus the wire was getting really hot! So I quickly took it off

I tested to see if i can wire it to my ignition, and it worked but only the switch light turn on, my fogs didn't i have no idea what else to do! Everything is right has ground. No idea what else to do

Are they cheap fogs from eBay? Try hooking it up straight to a 12v source (battery) and see if they work, first and foremost. This will get you acclimated to the type of circuit the lights require. Is it a 2 or 3 prong switch? Based on your description, it sounds like a three. Are the prongs labeled?

Yes they are the fog lights from ebay, how would i connect it to the battery if the wire is inside the car hook it up with another wire so it can reach the battery?
It's 3 one for the ground one to connect to the harness and another for a power source I'm guessing which that one was to be on the fuse box , which i did but no type of power

If that didn't work, then it's a safe bet that either you did something wrong, or the kit is fucked up.

Here is a better understanding
When i try to connect it to the fuse box it doesn't work the switch light don't even turn on

But if i rig it to a fuse the cluster fuse the switch turns on and one of the fogs turns on very dim thought and the wires get suuppper hot so i take it off quickly

It works like this! The right fog turns on but very dim and the wires get super hot so can't do it like this I could blow a fuse or worse guess not enough power

There fog light switch! Turns on

These are the three wires one connected to a ground and the other to the harness the other one well the yellow is what I'm having problems

Sorry the pictures are not in order but hope this give you guys an idea cause I'm out of ideas!!! 😔

Unplug everything. Remove everything. Take pictures and show us exactly what wires and connectors you have. If wires are getting hot, that means you're trying to push way too much power through them, which is a recipe for a fire. Stop that.

Show me the switch with the labels and how you wired it up, labeling what each of the wires go to. Let us finish this Jason.
