Floor brace/bar question?
first off.... i tried to search but the server is down...
alright, I was bored the other night searching around on the inet and found a floor bar/brace for our cars. it mounts, somehow, on the floor behind the front seats. I'm just wondering if my car would benefit from this thing. does anyone have one of these or ever used one? if so, where exactly does it mount?
oh, and here's a pic to get some people to read this...
just wondering about these. i havent bought one yet. thanks for any and all info

Re: (JDMlyfestyle)
the picture is off an ebay auction

i realize theyre adjustable in the center so it'd be like a strut/tie bar thats adjustable on the ends so it wouldn't be as stiff as the non adjustable bars. looks like if i get no info off here i may just pick one up and find out. if i can scrape up the extra cash

It aint that expensive. Try it out & give us a write up. If it even improves slightly I'd consider getting one, as I never use my back seat for anything other than a place to set stuff.

I agree. Since there's no triangulation to stop the car from flexing, the only benefit i could see to a bar like that would be side impact crash protection, but even that would be minimal.
