Floor board frame warped? HELP!
floor board frame seems to be bent/dipped/warped/whatever you want to call it. it isnt flat like it should be. i know the rubber tar mats are under the carpet. i took apart the carpet and looked. the bump/dips arent from the tarmats but the frame seems to be bent..
my conclusion is, although the car is a clean title, it has been in a pretty bad accident bending the bottom frame. any other reasons/conclusions you guys can come up with? and what can i do to get it fixed/or is it not worth getting fixed at all? how much would that be to get it fixed at a local body shop. thanks for lookin..
thanks.

im not sure. i couldnt rip off the rubber tar. the whole general area where you rest your feet is bent...
also on the right side (where i pulled off the carpet) there was a hole cut out w/ a rubber tar capped to fit the hole. that area itself is bumpy, then some of the other caved in areas. kinda looks like a mini volcano..

I would compare it to another car sidi by side. I have run sometimes thay bend or "tweak" parts of the frame from the factory for clearance issues. Try looking under an RSX where the exaust runs under the frame to the cat, wanna talk about a bent frame. sheese.

How does the car handle now?
Are you having difficulties with wheel alignment?
Excessive brake dust on on side?
The reason i ask is if it was in a car accident that bent the subframe like you say, you have a greater problem than you think. I would go try to get to the bottom of this though... To fix by a shop is hard to say. Frame re-alignment can be quite expensive.
But if you only wish to fix it, then, compare to another vehicle first. Then take out the sledge hammer and hammer away...

Re: Floor board frame warped? HELP! (Chiovnidca)
it may seem like that. the car doesnt handle that bad. it actually needs an alignment. the steering rod isnt adjusted straight. its shifted a few degrees left. a thief has attempted to steal the car. the cylinder ignition is busted and i was thinking somehow the steering rod was shifted. i took apart the steering wheel and tried to hammer it (triangluar 3 bolt on washer type of thing. its where the steering wheel bolts onto) back in place. no luck.
