fixed my MAP sensor, now my car won't idle and just dies...
So earlier today I was flashing codes 3 (MAP sensor malfunction) and code 14 (IACV malfunction)..
Well, I got the MAP off my old engine and zip tied it to the firewall and plugged it in and ran the vacuum hose and lo and behold, code 3 is gone. HOWEVER.. now, my car is still flashing the code 14 and it won't idle at all. It will maybe idle at 400 rpm for 2-3 seconds, then it dies.
What should I go about looking for when troubleshooting this? I have no idea what to do for this kind of situation. I have done a search and found some useful information, but it seems when most ppl have this problem that their idle is surging and usually higher than it should be, whereas mine is lower.
Also, the low idle doesn't change whether I have the IACV plugged in or not. It dies every time..
Can anyone help me out here?

Looks like your IACV has taken a ****.
Try someone else's out, if it works you need a new one. They're pretty pricey from the dealer.

as long as the IAC valve going on an OBD motor and off of an OBD motor it will work....
