Default First time

Ok i am new to the Honda world. (still kind of a sperm)
I have always been into Audi's and Toyotas (MR2) I have found that a lot of Honda motors are compatible with each other and sometimes just bolt right in. (hear say anyway) I have not found a site devoted to the del sol in specific. It is a hard car to research besides the Basics like the B16a and the dz or whatever motors. but how about the dohc will they bolt up to the d16z? I have also found it very difficult to find a Del Sol VTEC. and when you do find them they are extremely out of their own price range. I have had a friend with a super strong DOHC model but i dont know. will the sohc have as much tunability as the dohc? what are typical 1/4 mi times with DOHC and SOHC. sorry i am rambling but i just have a few research questions to help me solidify my choice in honda and their Del Sol. I must say driving My friends Sol was almost like driving my uncles Nass car but not quite as torquey. His sol had a built motor (internaly) full blown exh, intake, no Power steering or ac, he was on Coil overs (real ones) and some nice 16" light weight wheels and tight compound tires, wheel gap was about 1/16"
black in color and sleek as hell with no roof on. i hope you all can help me on proper info on this cars after market world.

oh and one last thing where the hell do i look for a DOHC VTEC sol??

you can put any b series motor in a del sol using honda parts. to fit a H/F and K series motor you will need after market motor mounts etc.

to find a b16 del sol is pretty rare anymore. you may want to try searching yahoo auto, msn auto, etc or your local newspaper.

btw try a search next time its the button to the far right of your screen. it will do you a lot of good to poke around this forum, you will learn a lot.
