fan not working.
Recently my 94 civic dx was overheating. I changed the thermostate, the car ran fine for a day and now its overheating again. I noticed that the radiator fan is not working.
how do i wire the radiator to the battery to find out if the motor is good or not?

Unplug the fan and put power from the battery to the two little prongs inside the plug, power straight from the battery is fine, if it works your fan temp sensor is bad, mine was bad when i bought my eg, and these cars run so damn cold you never find out your fan dosent work until your car sits for like 5 min.Easy fix, like 30-40 bux from honda. Ahhhhhh, i wish my car did'nt have power steering!

My coolant temperature sensor broke before. The fan wouldn't turn on because of that, and overheated 3 times. me for being too lazy to fix it until the 3rd time, huh? Anyway - it's $38 at Honda, if that is indeed your problem.
BTW, I have a 93 DX hatchback.

Re: fan not working. (dom93hatch)
i just hot wired the fan to the battery, the fan turns on right away, so the fan is good. I checked the fuse, the wire for the fuse is still in tact, and the fuse looks good.
So could it be that the wires are bad, or some circut is gone bad, what should i check for now..
