! faint thumping coming from rear left tire !
Just today i noticed a silent thumping coming from my rear driver side tire. It only happens when i go over little bumps and the suspension has to travel. Can this be the wheel bearing? Any help appreciated, thanx.

i'm sure it's not s flat spot, it only happens when i run over little bumps. Oh and i switched to Tein SS like last november. It sounds like a little *thud* when i run over tiny bumps. It's definately not metal on metal.

I've had this happen for 2 reasons. Once my upper control arm (I dont know technical name) was broken and it caused my tire to wear like a plus sign, really wierd. Mostly shaking at high speeds.
The other think I would check is that you have correct torque on your lug nuts. I know that is simple, but check to make sure you're not about to lose a wheel.
Also, If you cut the bushing when you lowered your car you will sometimes hear a little thumping...I always heard it in my 97 ex that had H&R Sport Springs. No worries.
