failed smog test...
i went to kragen yesterday looking for the seafoam thingy but they didnt have it. so the dude there said to get this "emission test passing for dummies." and i did. the directions on it said to pour it into tank prior to filling it up. and use the whole tank before going to the test. i used up the whole tank in one day. cause my appointment was earlier today at 1 so i used it all yesterday. i even took my car out to drive around and left the motor on right until the test. that was about a hour. and then i completely FAILED. heres the results...kinda blurry though.

So then, why did you initially put this stuff into your tank?

It is kind of comical, especially after seeing it's stock.

Get that sh%* out of the tank. Get rid of it and run 87 octane.
Set your timing to spec. 19BTDC is an automatic failure.
Do these and see where you are at, then come back for more info if needed.
That was a waste of a test and your money.

Re: (importsautomotive)
You can't count on CO too much because it is from poor combustion.
The same with HC's can be caused by a miss or???Too many to list!
You need good gas w/o additives and correct timing before any diagnosis, or you are wasting your time.
