Your O2 sensor is bad and your car is running too lean. Retard the timing a few degrees and replace your O2 sensor.

CEL = automatic fail.

the bad O2 could do it too. when you replace that clear the code and drive it like 60 miles before retesting so the cars readiness monitors can set.

Emission test failed : 2001 Honda Civic 2D ,
result
HC ppm : 2 : pass
CO% : 0.14 : pass
NO ppm: 1069 : fail ( almost double )
Dilution : 15.3 : Valid

Note : I had replaced 5 converter last year ( had one year worranty but its just over by 4 month)

I have been advised to change calical converter ( 170$) to pass e-test

please advise what to do

your help will be greatly appriciated
