Default exhaust suggestion

hey guys need some help on what i should do for my exhaust. i have a d16z6 and i have a megan n1 racing muffler, 2.5" inlet 4" outlet. first off is that too big? also if you were going to use it how would you do the exhaust, with or without stock cat, get a new cat, what would you do? and finally how will it sound if anybody has experience with that muffler.

if you live in cali, keep your cat or buy a new OEM cat.

other than that, check this thread out.

well thats if you live in cali, which im assuming you do. to pass smog i guess you could just swap your stock stuff back in when smog time comes around, so if you want to do it that way, go for the magnaflow cat. either way, i hate n1 style cans, they sounds hideous and are annoyingly loud, i have yet to hear one that doesnt sound ricey. so I'd go for a custom 2.25" piping with a muffler. or you could just slap a resonator on to your current setup with a high flow cat, should be a lot better sounding.

these are just my opinions, im sure someones going to say "nah mang, i gots no resonator an mah boy got diz yo and it soundz tight yo".

well i personally like what ive heard from the obx twin loop and netami twin loop mufflers on ebay. everyone says its good quality.
they have a great sound .
i had an rs-r and loved it, though it might have been too quiet.

with bolt ons and no cat, yes it is. 2.25" is what i'd recommend.
