exhaust question (EK w/ B16A2)
As stated above I have an ek w/ B16A motor with supposedly stock 99 SIR(USDM 99 SI) piping throughout, cat-convertor back. Oh bye the way, the piping seemed a bit heated and bent in certain areas like it was made to fit my car.
I have a massive hole in my resonator and was thinking about changing pipes and going with direct b-series bolt-ons (no test pipes), and I want to keep my stock sir convertor. Do any of the ITR/SIR (USDM 99 SI) b-series pipes directly bolt on to my cat-convertor and are the lengths and fitment the same?
I need to change my intermediate pipe soon, so I need options. Thanks.

Re: exhaust question (blue92da)
Yes, there are some interchangable b-pipes\midpipe you can use.
92-01(2000)Integra and civic have the same shape\length. The axle-back, or cat in some situations are where the difference in length will come from.
Obviously what model you get the b-pipe from will determine the piping's size.
Some cheaper ways to get a half decent b-pipe might be to find a stock one of any of these cars:
99-00 si(r) civic midpipe liek you have
94-01 gsr midpipe
97-01 type r midpipe
Obvisouly there are pleanty of aftermarket companies. You could also just hit up any exhaust shop and have them fab you up one.
shamless plug i know, my brother has an ITR midpipe for sale if you are interested.
Good luck.

Re: exhaust question (gunnis)
Thanks for the info. Yeah, I seen your brothers ad on tcc and sent him an offer. But he said the sale was pending. I'm thinkin of just getting the intermediate pipe replaced with an SIR one and thats it as opposed to doing the whole pipe.

Re: exhaust question (gunnis)
Hey gunnis bye the way, good swap man. A total sleeper. Did u do the whole swap yourself? How about the wiring? I realize that wiring is the only thing thats would trip me out. I was thinkin about doing the H22 swap. I still have to do my research on the topic but I was wondering what snags you hit in the way.
