Re: ek hatchback sun roof (K24EK)
none.. the only one I can even think of thats close to an ek is a 99 civic si. now those come with sunroofs.. I seen a clean ek in huntington beach with a sun roof.. it was tite son but obviously he took it from the 99 civic si and had a shop install it.

More than likely he "obviously" got an aftermarket unit installed (stock one would require a full roof swap and the coupe roof is shorter than the hatch roof).
EXes had moonroofs too btw.
So OP, get back to us and tell us if you wanted to know about USDM 6G hatches, USDM 6G Civics in general or overseas EK models (which are hatches and sedans).

And you probably wish you actually owned an EK9.

Yes I'm sure. I've looked in the EPC and confirmed that there is no roof skin made for the moonroof (and no moonroof assembly) for sale for any USDM 1996-2000 Honda Civic hatchback.

Re: (NOFX)
"moonroofs where a dealer option. at the time of purchase (when it was brand new) you had the option to put a moonroof/sunroof. they would use oem parts to have it installed."

Right, they're not stock. They're aftermarket sunroofs installed by other companies. It's the same as getting an aftermarket installed yourself, only for those ones you asked Honda to set up the appointment, etc. They might take a premium on top of the price of installation, but that could depend on the dealership.

You'd really have to shop around to find a price.
I'm not a big fan of aftermarket moonroofs since they can leak and be difficult to repair. Say the seal goes out... where are you buying the replacement?
But yes, the ones sold at the dealership ARE NOT OEM parts. Those parts aren't for sale in the US and again, installation would require that you cut out the roof skin, weld in a new one, paint the new one, run wiring and install the components.
