exhaust leaking??
okay. i bought my car with an apexi worldsport 2 on there already. i never really paid close attention to it. so this month, i decided to buy a mugen twin loop axleback. i installed it today, and....
sorry this is a noob question but, is there suppose to be a little bit of sound coming from the front of the axle? (the sound of a car w/o a cat.) not the muffler but where the 2.5in pipe that you connect it to the midpipe.
i was also wondering, can an exhaust be broken on the inside? or messed up on the inside of the piping? maybe there is a leakage that makes it kind of sound like it has no cat?

Wait a few weeks, then jack up the car and see if thre are any soot marks, representing leaks. Or, start up the car on jack stands and have someone cover the tip and see if you can find a leak

To me, an exhaust leak (at the header/block) sounds a bit like a relatively noticable ticking that gets louder as the RPM's go up. But it can also be easily confused with ALOT of other things though. Many things seem to "tick" in the engine bay.
