Default Rear disc brake swap identification

OK, I'll to the H-T obligatory flamer disclaimer. Yes, I know how to search, and I have done so. I don't need to know how to swap rear disc brakes. If you don't have a helpful response, please refrain from posting.

That said, I recently received a rear disc brake swap as partial payment in kind. I can recognize it as being removed from a Honda product, and it has a 4X100 bolt pattern. I was initially informed that it had been removed from a DA Integra, however after further questioning, he retracted the statement and advised that he was not sure what they were from. Included were the trailing arms and hubs with calipers and parking brake cables with handle.

The pictures I could locate of various generations of Integra rear disc brakes all look similar to the untrained eye. What should I look for to identify what type of vehicle these were removed from? I intend to sell these, and I doubt they will sell well if I can't say what they came from.

If it will make a difference, I may be able to take some photographs of these brakes, but they are currently buried in my garage, so it will take some time.

Look at the trailing arm bushings and compare them with the ones on your car. If the bushings are larger, then they are DA, if not, then they can be anything other than DA.

90-01 Integra, 88-00 Civic, and 93-97 Del Sol rear discs are all interchangeable.

Yep. DA trailing arms use an 85mm OD bushing. All other [double wishbone Civic/CRX/Integra/CR-V/del Sol platform] trailing arms use an 80.5mm bushing. You can still use the DA arms because the only difference is the diameter of that bushing.

/thread. Doesn't matter what car they're from; they're the same (except e-brake cable lengths). All of the 4x100mm rear discs use a 9.5" solid rotor and a 7CLP13S caliper.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll check the diameter of the bushing.

This brings up another question. This set has already got the cables. Is there a way I can measure them to determine what they will fit?

Sure, but you'd have to find the length information for various cars somewhere. I personally don't know any of the cable lengths offhand, nor do I know of anywhere to find them. The closest you can get is searching archived H-T threads and seeing which cables people have successfully used on particular cars. Some day when I get some free time at work, I intend to make a database of certain part measurements that are useful but hard to find, and e-brake cable lengths is one of them (along with brake caliper piston diameters, drivetrain weights, exhaust component lengths, etc.).

If you can confirm that they are DA trailing arms, then chances are good that they are DA cables.
