engine shuts off
i swaped out my stock throttle body on my z6 for a GSR....it's really cold here in wisconsin and when ever i start up my car in the morning, the engine will catch on but die right away....but if i keep my foot on the gas a little bit and start it up, it will sputter and barely run, really low idle...!!!! i mean at 750 rpms when its cold....usually it idles really high in cold weather at like 1500 rpms and then drops back down when hot....i don't know what this problem is?

Re: engine shuts off (z6hatchboy)
Considering that the throttle cable is on the body, id check to make sure it was tight enough...
at least it sounds like the most reasonable problem there could be.

Re: engine shuts off (ge_z6)
Are you talking about the throttle cable? It shouldn't really be loose at all, and the cam on the t/b should be able to easily return to the idle adj. screw.
*edit* Uh oh, i just thought of something, the fitv since you changed t/b you also changed the fitv which controls the cold idle. You may need to clean it. Heres a link that shows how to clean it, https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1564019
