so i am having some problems with my motor on my 1996 ex civic. it originally came with a d16y8 when i bought it then i blew it and went LS. after the hooters meet i got busted at they took the motor and left me with a shell. now my buddy gave me his d16y7 motor tranny and everything. what i cant figure out is why more than half the wires wont line up. his was a 97 civic DX btw so im confused whythey would be soo different. the intake manifold sensors and the big distributor wire either i got the wires on the head under the distributor and the injectors although they do go in they dont reach very well. \\\


what am i misssing here

 

u still using the ls wiring harness??

 

im not sure now because when i got the ls first put in i could have swore the guy who put it in said he was doing something to the harness.. is there a way i can tell what kind of harness it is.. i still have to use a jumper harness to plug my obd1 ecu and a obd2a ecu plugs in fine
