Hi guys..!! Can someone help me out to identify the problem. My engine (B16A 2nd generation DOHC VTEC) was not start after took out for replacement of oil seal. The task is pretty simple, just dismantle the whole distributor assembly, took out the electrical parts inside, remove the old/damage oil seal, replace with new one & re-assemble the electric parts and reassemble the whole assembly. Spark plug cable all in order.
What shall be the most probable cause for engine not start..?? Is it all about distributor failure..???

does the engine lights go on when u crank the key to ignition . does the engine crank at all.

I guess if you're timing were way off you could make it not start. It may be your coil.

Have you checked your ground wires?

Yeah..ground wire was in perfect condition. I guess distributor coil is out of order. What do you think..??

Yeah..Everything on the cluster panel incusive of engine check light is working normal. It's seems no spark from the spark plug cable, when crank is running on starter motor.
