Default Engine check light?

93 del sol w/ 00' CTR b16b swap using 00' CTR PCT Ecu.
throws a code 23? Help@1!!

By the way, it's the code for a knock sensor.

You didnt hook up your knock sensor...

EDIT: Beat me too it. You have an OBD2 motor in your OBD1 car. Theres no wiring for the sensor so you have to run the wire through the firewall and to the ecu. Very simple. If you can swap a motor, you can run a single wire.

-Ran knock sensor, car has been on the road since december 06. This is the first engine check light mishap and hopefully last one.

Yesterday it came on and now tonight.

Your knock sensor could be broken .... it happens quite often. It's just a microphone held together with glue.
