em1 drive shaft problem

Icon6 em1 drive shaft problem

hey h-t this is wierd...
whille pulling out my motor. i seperated my cv shafts and the drivers side shaft (spline) stayed in the diff extesion arm and the actual drive shaft has no spline in it, it stayed in the tranny arm (diff extension arm not sure of the real name) never seen this before but i cant pull the spline out of the arm it kinda looks like supposted to be this way any ideas?

if u mean ur axle has a hole in it..? im pretty sure thats how it should be... someone correct me if im wrong..

its like that on the new models like 99 and up i think... im not sure about the gsr's... but im sure my em1 was like that also.. good luck

I don't know if im fully understanding you but I believe your talking about the CV axle connecting to the half shaft, if im correct and am understanding then the CV axle should be able to come off of the half shaft...If this is no help sorry =/

yea thats bout right cv axel . the spline is not in the boot its in the diff its not in the cv shaft it self
