Default EK Prop valve

46210-S04-901 VALVE, PROPORTIONING 99-00 Si
46210-S04-901 VALVE, PROPORTIONING 96-00 DX,CX,HX. Hb,coupes.
hondapartsunlimited.com

They are the SAME no need to swap them for a 4wheel disc conversion

for ek 96-00 I think they are the same - i know I am using a stock dx prop valve & brake booster with F&R si brakes & si master cylinder

& yes my car had drums in the rear & now has si disc brakes

You are assuming they are the same becasue they come stock with drums, you dont know for sure.

Ive read they do have the same prop valves, at least the hatches do.

Can someone verify this

I just did - edit - I also believe if you go online to a honda parts site & search they are the same part number that is cx/dx & si BUT NOT lx model trims

The 96-00 DX and 99-00 Si share the same prop valve. I know because I have done this conversion a few times already.

they look identical on the outside but i dont know if they are different.

Also all EX models should have the same prop valve cause they came with rear dics

Yes.CX,DX,HX,SI.All have the same prop valve.same part # = same part.

I searched on hondaautomotiveparts.com and didnt get the same part numbers.

They do not use Honda part numbers. But if you don't believe us go ahead and buy an "Si" prop valve.

I already have an EX prop valve just wanted to clear up the confusion with facts and not peoples assumptions or own personal opinions
