ek hatchback sway bar..help!!!
i just bought a 99-00 si rear sway bar i think that it is 13mm so i been reading that if i would to get the 22mm ctr or itr swaybar that i would rip the subframe so was wondering if it necessary to buy a ars subframe for the si sway bar or should just buy it for safety reasons.? the sway bar is going on a 97 civic hatchback..

Re: (Malakai)
you will be fine running that swaybar without any reinforcement.
subframe reinforcement is highly recommended if running a 22mm type r sway though...

all the civic subframes are the same, meaning the si itself came with the same subframe as yours. Therefore, running 13mm sway bar on your car will be more than fine. If you lowered your car, it will even better since your car will be stiffer than stock.

I had a 22mm sus. technique sway bar on my 97EX for couple of months until the chassis starts making cracking noise then I removed it. I'm running Si sway on my 96 hatch w/ no problem since it's so skinny.
