EK fuel pump/relay problem
Alright, with the cold weather setting in it is only the prime time to have car problems. I have an emotional fuel pump and think the relay is going bad. I try to start the car and the pump won't kick on, but if I try a few hours later I will hear the pump kick on and the car will start, I am pretty sure it is the relay from my own 'Encyclopedia Brown' investigation. I was wondering how common those go bad on the EKs? and where the relay is located? and also where the best place is to pick one up? Thanks in advance!

Re: EK fuel pump/relay problem (saywhat)
It's very common, I came across a guy in my city who had the same trouble. same year ek as mine (97) ....mine has never gone bad (knock on wood) but his had....
take off your glove compartment door and it will be a brown square to the right corner.. you can miss it.. it is not by the ecu it is above it to the right of the glove compartment area

Re: EK fuel pump/relay problem (murmur9)
Hey thanks, sounds like a good 'day after Thanksgiving' project for me. Can I pick up a new relay at Autozone or is this one of those 'dealership' parts? also do you know the average price? I have heard about $70 but I am not sure. Thanks
