Default EJ6/B16 swap - transmission noise, CEL codes, and speedo issues

I just recently swapped a b16 into my ej6 and having some problems.

when started the engine makes a weird whirling noise like how it were to sound
if powersteering fluid was out. The noise would than stop if i step on clutch...
i than tried the shift linkage and 4th gear is locked out? idk how it would be because i just installed a
new clutch...maybe tranny is ****** up? (yes there is fluid in the tranny)

lastly i tooked it out for a drive(going only 30mph) the engine stalls and bogs at 2000-3500 RPM ...
while on the road the spedometor was acting crazy and moving up and down before it died and stopped working..
i checked the codes and got a code 2 and code 5...(which shouldnt have killed the spedometor) for a P28 ecu

so i switched it to a P30 and got readings of only code 2 but with really really low idle posslibly 200(still bogging and stalling)

I need some expertise HT!

im too tired haha ok Manifold Absolute Pressure aka MAP sensor a bad one of those car really mess with your engine are you running rich (check plugs) if so that can contribute to the bogging at lower rpms

Sounds like a bad transmission main bearing, typically the input shaft bearing. You may also have a bad gear synchro. Have you checked whether the transmission has any fluid in it?

Code 2? Are you sure it's not code 20? Post a video.

Also check whether 7.5A dash fuse 15 is blown.

Codes 20 (ELD) and 41 (primary O2 sensor heater)

Reset the ECU to clear the codes - do they both return?

Start by voltage testing 7.5A dash fuse 15 - click Fuses link in my signature.

Where do you think the noise is coming from?
