re: EJ1 D16Z6 tachometer problem
There are a couple of possibles here:
1: Check your ECU and confirm it is a P28, if not, you may be using an ECU with a lower redline cutoff.
2: The OEM tachs can go bad, you may need a new tachometer unit for your cluster (its likely cheaper to replace the whole cluster).
3: The least likely culprit is that the rotors inside the distributor have corroded to the point where the magnetic pickups cannot get a good enough read on them, but this usually causes other symptoms such as rough idle, missing, failure to run...etc. OR the pickups themselves are going south due to oil infiltration, heat damage, age...etc.
You should check the ecu first, then go on to diagnose your cluster before you decide to dig too far into other "possibles", it can turn into a mess real fast if you rush headlong into things that are a distant possibility, I only listed them because I have personally seen them happen.

2) Here in Brazil found some old honda parts can be so hard, i need to fix that.
3) I know thats the engine runs 7200rpm measured by a volt rpm guage, but shows only 6000 on the cluster tach
